3DVisA Index of 3D Projects: Architectural and Urban Studies

Inigo Jones's Covent Garden Piazza, London, UK

One of a number of similar projects carried out by the Centre for Advanced Studies in Architecture (CASA) at Bath, this computer reconstruction was concerned with the original design by Inigo Jones for the Covent Garden Piazza. Following later modernisation and addition of new buidlings in the 19th century, Jones's grand scheme has not survived.

Project dates: Completed 1995.

Resource status: Exhibited at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, London 1995.
