3DVisA Index of 3D Projects: Architectural and Urban Studies

Sir John Soane House, London, UK

Digital visualisation of Sir John Soane’s House in Lincoln’s Inn Fields, London was created as learning material for the Open University course From Enlightenment to Romanticism, which began taking in students in 2004. The forty panoramas with over 600 hotspots, use photographs taken by Professor Tim Benton and accompany his essay on the architect of 25,000 words and a short video in which he tours the house. Jeremy Taylor programmed the package in Macromedia Director.
